Explore Outside While We Make Inside Safe

Los Angeles has a long history of murals and public art. The murals are stories and symbols representing LA’s history and culture, particularly for it’s Black and LatinX communities. Los Angeles banned murals for 10 years, starting in 2003 but luckily that ban was lifted and now you can find vibrant murals all over LA. Art is thriving, even in this pandemic, and now is a great time to get outside and seek out these public works of art while we at Do It Rite work hard electrostatic cleaning commercial spaces so that indoor spaces are safe to come back to as we reopen.

Murals beautify cities and bring locals and tourists to areas that might otherwise be overlooked. Murals can attract new businesses to different areas and can boost the economy. They encourage pedestrians to slow down and take in their surroundings. They’ve been a part of human history going all the way back to cave drawings and often reflect the times that we are living in.

Take for example, this mural that Do It Rite owner Joe ran into when he was walking around LA. The mural depicts cleaners sanitizing and electrostatic cleaning, just like we are doing to help make indoor spaces as safe as possible.

To see the murals of Los Angeles you can take a Covid-complaint public or private tour. You can also map out a walking tour of your own through neighborhoods like Venice and the Arts District. You don’t even have to leave your house if you don’t want to with live-virtual mural tours available online.

Covid-19 has hit Los Angeles hard but it’s a resilient city with resilient people. Now is a great time to appreciate the beauty and culture of the City of Angels by taking in its sights and murals outside, while we get the inside safe and ready for you!
