In the age of COVID-19, cleaning is more important than ever. Do It Right, the premier cleaning service in Los Angeles, knows that when it comes to cleaning your office space, property, or sound-stage, you want to ensure that it is safe for everyone who will be inhabiting the space. That’s where our Electrostatic Cleaning comes in.
But what is Electrostatic Cleaning?
Electrostatic Cleaning is the process of spraying an electrostatically charged disinfectant mist onto surfaces and objects. The spray is a specialized solution that is combined with air and atomized by an electrode inside the sprayer. Subsequently, the spray contains positively charged particles that are able to aggressively adhere to surfaces and objects. Because the particles in the spray are positively charged, when the Do It Rite cleaners spray the electrostatic disinfectant, the particles cling to and coat any surface they’re aimed at. This also makes it easier to clean awkward shaped objects or surfaces that may be encountered when cleaning an office space, apartment, etc. because the charged particles allow the mist to evenly coat the area.
How does it work?
That was a lot of fancy sounding words but does it actually work? Yes! It works kind of like a magnet! Imagine the surfaces we are cleaning in your office space, multi-family property, soundstage, etc. are negative magnets. With Do It Rite’s Electrostatic Cleaning, the disinfectant mist is given a positive electrical charge, like a positive magnet. Just like when you bring two magnets close together, our disinfectant is attracted to the surfaces and objects and clings to them and coats them evenly; underside and backside included! Areas that are already coated will repel the mist (like two negative magnets!) so the mist finds an area not yet covered.
